If you are yet to move to the U.S., you can improve your NovaScore by improving your credit score in your home country. This is usually done by making your credit card payments, loan instalments and other credit payments on time; keeping your credit utilization ratio low for credit cards; not applying for too many credit products at once or in quick succession, and overall more responsibly managing your credit.

If you’ve already moved to the U.S., chances are that there is not much you can do to improve your NovaScore, since it is calculated based on your home country credit history.
